These are the Terms and Conditions for the use of the website (www.slabcitycomics.com) and purchasing of products using this website.

Please ensure you read these Terms and Conditions carefully before accessing or using this website. By accessing, using any part of the website or purchasing any products via the website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any of the terms of this agreement, please do not use the website or proceed any further.

This website is owned and operated by Slab City Comics Limited a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10234648 whose registered address is at International House, 12 Constance Street, London, England, E16 2DQ (“we”, “our” or “us” hereafter).

We reserve, at our sole discretion, the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice. All changes will be included within these Terms and Conditions on our website. You should ensure you check our Terms and Conditions upon every visit and purchase made via our website.

Postage

All prices are exclusive of delivery and shipping charges. Postage is calculated by size and weight of the item(s) being shipped. We will dispatch all orders at the earliest convenience (usually within 3 working days), to an address indicated by the customer when the order was placed (and following release for pre-order products). All products are posted Royal Mail or a nominated courier service.

Orders will be shipped once all items in the order are in stock, at our sole discretion we may send out partial orders before having the full order in stock.

All deliveries will be made to the address provided by you. It is your responsibility to ensure the address you provide us is accurate and we accept no liability for failure to deliver due to you providing an incorrect delivery address.

Please allow up to 28 days for delivery from confirmation of posting. We will not be held liable to customers for deliveries delayed due to circumstance beyond our control.

Right to Cancel

You may cancel your order up to fourteen days after you have received your order. In the event that you wish to cancel the order, you must inform us in writing by sending an email to info@slabcitycomics.com.

All cancelled products must be returned to us unopened in the original packaging, in resalable condition with all seals and wrappings intact. In the event that products have been opened, your right to cancel no longer applies. Products must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt to qualify for a refund. We will refund the cost of the cancelled item, but will not refund any postal charges incurred as part of the initial order or the return postage.

You will be liable for all costs in relation to returning any products due to cancellation.

If we have not yet dispatched the product, we will cancel your order and refund any amounts paid in relation to the product. 

You must return the item to us within 14 days of receipt to be entitled for a refund.

Comics are classed as periodicals and are exempt from distance selling rules, so therefore we are not obliged to offer a 14 day cooling off period.

 

Comics

All comics listed are individually graded.
The standard comic grades that we use for comic books on this site is as follows:
NM (Near Mint) 9.0 or higher out of 10 - An great copy with white pages. The slightest of imperfections may be seen, such as one or two microscopic marks on the spine.

VFN (Very Fine) 8.0 out of 10 - A sharp, glossy and clean copy. Tight and flat with the slightest of wear. No significant marks.

FN (Fine) 6.0 out of 10 - An above average copy. Slightly more wear. Cream to off-white pages.

VG (Very Good) 4.0 out of 10 - A misnomer. A copy with possibly several minor tears, and light creases. Perhaps a small amount of pen on the cover. Off-white to tan colour pages.

G (Good) 2.0 out of 10 - A worn copy with slightly heavier creases and longer tears. Possible spine-roll. Still complete though.

FAIR (Fair) 1.0 out of 10 - A tired and unhappy comic. Very worn. Severe tears and creases. Perhaps a detached cover.

POOR (Poor) 0.5 out of 10 - Totally wrecked. This copy could be totally defaced. Brittle pages are possible as are missing page.
